Yann is a mutual friend of mine. I was introduced to his YouTube channel (found here) by my boyfriend a while ago. He makes really nice and relaxing music, and he has a lot of talent and skill. This album is his latest release, and i highly recommend you give this a listen. Personally, i think he heavily underprices his work, but on the flipside, the majority of his audience are young people, and by pricing his work so low, he makes it accessible to everyone. He even goes out of his way to gift his music for free to his previous supporters. As for the music itself, its exceptionally well composed, and will leave you awe struck once you realize that its all done by himself. Every track has tiny hints of extra sounds that make them sound very natural and spacious. Again, i highly recommend you give this a listen and support Yann if you can!

Now, i am a fan of Hardcore Metal, but i rarely listen to albums that dont have a very clean sound. However, despite this, Hit The Slope by Downhill has caught my attention. Its just the right kind of music for me - fast, catchy and rhytmic. Plus, the little peaks sprinkled here and there just make it sound very enjoyable. I am not much of a music connoisseur, so forgive me for having wrong terminology and all, since i am not very knowledgeable in this area, despite listening to a lot of music every day (i only take my headphones off to sleep or shower). Music for me is something i need in my ears constantly, and helps me focus and function like a human being. Enough about me, this album is a PWYW (Pay what you want) and i think you should definitely check it out! The vocals are good and the guys are killing it.

Let me preface this post by saying that i absolutely loved Harm's Way's Posthuman album. I wasn't even aware that they had more albums, and more albums did they have! (is this how the saying goes?) Their Bandcamp page lists 6 releases! I was pretty excited about getting to listen to more. I dig their other albums, not as much as Posthuman, but that can easily be attributed to the development that they have gone through. They have definitely improved, but their older albums still hit hard. Loud, dirty, angry, fast, just how i love my metal. Out of all their albums, Isolation has my favorite cover art. As for the music, the albums definitely not a slouch. Even though its not as rhytmic and consistent as Posthuman, it has its own charm. I definitely recommend giving this and their other albums a listen. Their lead singer is hella buff, holy hell i'm scared.
